When you need water pressure to clean an area, using a regular garden hose will not always do the job. In order to get the correct amount of pressure you need, you will want to think about investing in a pressure washer gas power unit to get the job done. There is a variety of different models available on the market today. Some units will make handling those small jobs around the house while other units are manufactured to handle industrial size jobs. A powered pressure washer will exponentially increase the water pressure to between 1000 to 4000 PSI. This will boost the pressure enough to actually clean just about any surface. Before, you purchase a particular model make sure you research which unit will work best for you.

There are two types of pressure washers; electric and gas. Each unit will pressurize water differently. The largest difference is the speed and strength each pressure washer unit will provide. The pressure differential will only make a difference if you have to clean a surface area of any size. Pressure washers that use electric power are better for smaller surface areas while pressure washer gas power units will clean large areas. Electric power washers are less expensive, portable and easy to use around the house. If you are cleaning your driveway, or your deck you will want to use a gas pressure washer. The smallest gas power unit is more powerful than the largest electric, power washer.

Some of the most popular units are the Karcher 2200, Campbell Haufeld 2000 and the PowerBoss 3000.

The prosumer-grade units are more powerful with PSI ranging from 2500 to 4000. These units are perfect for heavy duty cleaning. Most prosumer-grade units feature a Honda GX engines. These units are built sturdy and will be last for years to come. Some of the most popular prosumer units are the Karcher Prosumer 3600, Maxus Prosumer 3000 and Briggs & Stratton 3200. Keep in mind that you are basically purchasing horsepower. The more expensive the unit the more power you will have to get the job done.
